in "Dimension Four" ?

A-01 : The scientific 'necessities' would seem to be :

Time Travel - one reference to "D4"
FTL (Faster Than Light) travel - backyards are... limiting
Non-Terrestrial lifeforms - Earth's especially so
Matter-Energy conversion and transmission

However, drama needs fallible science. So take your pick.

Q-02 : Being an English-born SFTV creator is there any connection
between your series and "Doctor Who" - English, Time Travel
in a suitably equipped vessel... ?

A-02 : Wade and sea. (A stretch of water (!) reached...
by a stretch of the imagination).
i.e. Male-only (!) doctors ? Tut, tut...

Q-03 : Following on from FAQ#2... what SFTV series inspired you
and thus "Dimension Four" ?

A-03 : Let me answer that question... in Latin -
'Divide et impera' (Divide and rule - used with 'conquer')
